Updesh Rana is the National Secretary of the Vishwa Sanatan Sangh, an alt-right Hindu organisation. Under the garb of “unifying Hindus from their caste differences”, he had similarly requested his followers to have #हिंदूवादी_भारत trend on Twitter only yesterday.

He has garnered quite the dedicated following over the microblogging site. Sitting pretty at 4,754 followers on this account, any topic he hopes to bring Twitter limelight to is ferociously posted about on the site by these followers, which is then furthered by their followers and so on.
