Violation of the Indian Penal Code

In addition to a breach of Constitutional provisions, the atrocities committed by the accused as enumerated above are punishable under a number of sections of the Indian Penal Code, 1960 as given below:

10. S. 153 A Promoting enimity between peoples on the grounds of religion
11. S. 298 Uttering words to wound religious feelings
12. S. 166 Disobeying the law with the intent to cause injury to any person
