UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
The request letter dated 07.07.2015 from the Principal
Judge, City Civil & Sessions Court, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad,
Gujarat, is placed on record.
We have carefully perused the request letter from the
learned Principal Judge. We are of the considered opinion that the extension of time sought for by the learned Principal Judge requires to be granted. If such permission is granted, it will not cause any prejudice to either side.
Therefore, we grant another three months’ time from today to the learned Principal Judge, City Civil & Sessions Court, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to complete the trial and pronounce the Judgment.
Unregistered Applications for Bail:
The unregistered applications for grant of temporary bail preferred by the accused persons who are in the jail custody are taken on record.
Since we have requested the learned Principal Judge to
dispose of the case pending before him within three months’
time from today, the request of the accused persons for grant of bail need not be considered by us at this stage. Therefore, the request for grant of bail is rejected for the present.
The latest report submitted by the SIT is taken on
record.
List the matter after three months.
