सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता तीस्ता सीतलवाड़ को महात्मा गांधी काशी विद्यापीठ परिसर से मंगलवार को बाहर कर दिये जाने पर जमकर हंगामा हुआ। तीस्ता कोछात्रसंघ की ओर से एक कार्यशाला में आमंत्रित किया गया था। विद्यापीठ के गेट नंबर तीन से परिसर में प्रवेश करते ही तीस्ता को रोक देने पर कार्यक्रम केआयोजक छात्रों और पुलिस के बीच नोकझोक व हाथापाई हो गई। इस रोक के खिलाफ छात्रों के एक गुट ने धरना भी दिया। वहीं, विद्यापीठ प्रशासन ने छात्रसंघउपाध्यक्ष रोशन कुमार और महामंत्री अनिल यादव समेत सात छात्रों को कारण बताओ नोटिस दी है। छात्रसंघ उपाध्यक्ष रोशन कुमार ने विद्यापीठ के समिति कक्ष में एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने की अनुमति मांगी थी। विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को यह जानकारी दीगई थी कि ‘सोशल मीडिया के दौर में मुख्य धारा की पत्रकारिता’ विषयक एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई है। वहीं मीडिया को भेजे आमंत्रण में यह भीबताया गया था कि ‘तीस्ता सीतलवाड़: संविधान की सिपाही एक संस्मरण’ नामक पुस्तक का विमोचन भी होगा। इस बात का उल्लेख नहीं था कि संगोष्ठी में कौन-कौन भाग ले रहा है। कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने वालों की जानकारी नहीं विद्यापीठ प्रशासन का कहना है कि आयोजकों ने कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने वालों के संबंध में जानकारी नहीं दी। इसी आधार पर कार्यक्रम पर रोक लगा दी गई।इसकी जानकारी आयोजकों को भी दी गई। वहीं, तीस्ता सीतलवाड़ के आने की भनक लगने पर विद्यार्थी परिषद के कार्यकर्ताओं ने कार्यक्रम के विरोध का ऐलान कर दिया। इस पर विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासनसतर्क हो गया। पुलिस प्रशासन को भी सूचना दे दी गई। मंगलवार दोपहर एक बजे के आसपास तीस्ता सीतलवाड़ कुछ छात्रों और सहयोगियों के साथ मलदहियागेट से विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में प्रवेश कर गईं। सूचना मिलते ही सुरक्षाकर्मी और पुलिस वहां पहुंच गई। उनको आगे बढ़ने से रोक दिया। तीस्ता का कहना था किइस तरह से किसी को नहीं रोका जा सकता। पुलिस अधिकारियों और उनके बीच नोकझोक हुई। मगर महिला पुलिसकर्मियों की मदद से उन्हें परिसर से बाहरकर दिया गया। The original report may be read here.
